Right before you were born I bought these two books, “
Dad Tell Me One More Story” and “Dad, Share Your Life With Me”. Each page has a question like “What was your favorite movie and why?” or “When I was a baby what did you do to help me sleep?” I’ve filled out some of these pages out but never been consistent. At the rate I’m going you’ll be 20 before these books are completed.
Countless times in the past I’ve thought how crazy my life was and how I should keep a journal. I always thought it would actually be interesting for someone to read. My only problem is I don’t really like to write. It’s not the thought or the sentence forming part of writing but the actual handwriting part. In preparation for your third birthday I bought these two notebooks to begin a journal.
Combine the two issues of me not liking to write and my inconsistency with the fact that I take a lot of photos and videos and I really want to document your early years and I’m always online working in Internet marketing the idea of a blog was such a logical solution.
I realize the idea of a handwritten book might be more personal but doesn’t out way the advantages of being able to sight other content on the web, add photos and videos and create a backup in multiple locations so it can’t get destroyed in a natural disaster.
So here you go! A blog from me to you.
