These winter days that you spend away seem to stretch on forever. Seeing you just 4 days a month is simply not enough. I’m trying to come up with some options that will help like staying in Bend to volunteer at your school. Christmas & Snowboarding
Monday, April 6th, 2015This year for Christmas we booked a vacation rental in Sunriver from Christmas Eve till New Years. I got to take you snowboarding, just the two of us. On the way up Bachelor I told you about the house we lived in when you were born and you said you’d like to see it sometime. We didn’t at the time but I wish we had and I look forward to showing you another time. (more…)
Catching Up – Your first backpacking trip

Grandma, Papa Buzz, Grandma Chris, Grammy, Grandma Murray, Aunt Leslie, Aunt Leah and your cousins all here among others. Everyone asked about you. The Saddest Day
Saturday, November 16th, 2013Today is the saddest day of my life. Starting today the amount of time we get to spend together is greatly diminished. Your Mom will start being your primary care giver and I feel that it could have just as easily gone the other way. I know your Mom will take good care of you and we’ll still see each other every other weekend; it’s still very hard for me after everything we’ve been through together. We’re so close and I feel so greatly that my role in your life was so under represented today (which is only my fault and the fault of my council) I feel compelled to post a few things about our relationship up to this point while some of these things are fresh in my mind.
