Everyday I love you and everyday I want to hold you and make you smile. I think about you all the time. Not seeing you for two weeks at a time weighs heavy on my heart. I just woke from a dream with both love and sadness. In the dream I had come a long way to visit you in Bend. We were at a park with a big open field. Some older kids were playing baseball and the two of us were together watching, playing, laughing. You with your golden hair and pretty summer dress. It’s great to see your smile in my dreams. I looked at you and you ran to me with a big hug. I picked up your tiny five year old body off the ground as I do in warm embrace and as our hearts come together, they swell and sing. In my dream the day wears on and the sun grows harsh, it’s time for us to go and I know we will soon be apart once more. This is where a wake, just a few minutes ago. I love you and I thank God I get to see you in a few days. The connection we share makes me feel the universe was created just for us. Sweet dreams Avani; I’ll call you tomorrow.
